I did a nicer version for the hometown reception. Here is what the bun can look like when you take more than 3 minutes to do it.
The bottom fell out rather quickly, but Mr. Avocado wasn't very good at telling me what looked loose. I think I did this one in 6 sections total. Surprisingly, it does not look sticky and gross depsite the bottle of hairspray I sprayed on it.
